The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA), in collaboration with the Australian Pharmaceutical Science Association (APSA), invites you to contribute to the vibrant exchange of knowledge and innovation that defines our profession. Your research and practice insights have the power to shape the future of pharmacy, influencing the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists across Australia and beyond.

We welcome submissions that showcase the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and highlight practical aspects of pharmacy practice. Whether it's ground-breaking research or innovative practice pearls, your contribution will help establish evidence-based foundations for the evolving role of pharmacists.

Students and early career pharmacists are encouraged to submit their work. Pharmacists across all settings are also encouraged to share their insights through the Practice Pearl category.

Categories of Submission

Research Papers:
Present original research that pushes the boundaries of pharmaceutical science. We welcome studies that offer new insights, challenge existing paradigms, and propose solutions to current challenges in pharmacy practice. Please see the Abstract User Guide below for further information and tips on preparing your abstract.

Practice Pearls:
Share your practical experiences, case studies, or innovative approaches that have proven effective in practice. These insights are invaluable in shaping real-world applications of pharmacy knowledge.

Presentation Formats
Selected submissions may be presented as oral presentations or poster displays. This is your opportunity to engage peers, showcase your work, and receive feedback from experts.

Mentor Program
In collaboration with APSA, we offer guidance to authors in preparing abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. This support is aimed at practicing pharmacists without formal research training. Higher degree research students are expected to receive guidance from their supervisors.
Prospective presenters can contact APSA for advice on topic suitability, abstract preparation, and presentation content and format. Support can be requested up to 14 days prior to the relevant deadline. A user guide is also included below which provides key information to assist with the preparation of your abstract.

Use the provided templates to format your Research Paper or Practice Pearl.

Step 3: Submit before the deadline
Don't miss your chance to contribute to PSA26. Check the closing date and submit your abstract on time.
